The 29th Annual International Conference was held from April 22 to 25, 2025 at PrideInn Paradise Beach Resort & Spa Mombasa with the theme, Ethical Leadership & Good Governance – Restoring Trust, Renewing Morals, Securing the future.
Day one was nothing short of excellence, inspired by key leaders setting the tone with impactful opening remarks. The morning continued with a riveting keynote session on “Ethical Leadership and Good Governance—Restoring Trust, Renewing Morals, Securing the Future” by CS Pawan G Chandak and FCS Rupanjana De from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
From dissecting governance reforms in the health sector with Dr. Dan Gikonyo, to the war on corruption with Mr. Abdi Ahmed Mohamud of EACC, and exploring how constitutional commissions shape public trust, today was a masterclass in transformative leadership.
Panelists including Dr. Stanley Karanja (PhD) and FCS Dr. Nancy Nkirote Muriuki sparked big conversations on servant leadership and role modelling that will surely ripple far beyond.
Day two of the 29th Annual Conference featured sessions led by HE FCPA Ahmed Abdullahi, EGH; CS SC Charles Kanjama; FCPA Dr Margaret Nyakang'o; CS Mary Wamae; CS Nicholas Mulila and Mr. Paul Famba.
Key topics included the Ethics of AI in Cybersecurity, Enhancing Devolved Governance, Public Participation, Citizen Engagement and more.
Day three of the 29th Annual Conference was filled with powerful conversations, inspiring reflections and bold ideas shaping the future of governance and leadership.
The day featured discussions on Strengthening Governance, Innovation and Sustainability in Education led by Mr. Geoffrey Monari, followed by an engaging session on Strengthening Governance and Sustainability in Health by Dr. Kahura Mundia. The day concluded with a compelling talk by Mr. Lawrence Muiruri on Restoring Public Trust by Upholding the Constitution and the Rule of Law.
