James Wachira Maina

James Wachira is a governance and leadership professional currently serving as a Member Welfare Assistant at the Institute of Certified Secretaries (ICS). He holds a Bachelor of Economics from Karatina University and is pursuing the Certified Secretaries (CS) qualification. James has practical experience in governance support, board operations, programme coordination, mentorship and stakeholder engagement gained through his work with the Ethical Leadership Network (ELNET Kenya) and the Fellowship of Christian Unions (FOCUS Kenya). He also participated in the Governance and Ethics Mentorship and Internship Programme (GEMIP) at ICS, which strengthened his hands-on skills in governance, ethics, compliance, and corporate secretarial practice.
