The Institute invites you to join an inspiring Mt. Kilimanjaro hike via the scenic Marangu Route in October 2025. This adventure goes beyond the summit—it is a mission to raise funds for Phase II of the Governance and Ethics Hub, a centre dedicated to advancing ethical leadership, accountable stewardship, and sustainable development across East Africa.

Once complete, the Hub will empower thousands of governance professionals to lead with skill, vision, and integrity. The hike will also unite individuals and organizations committed to ethical leadership, transparency, and accountability.

The Governance and Ethics Hub
Phase I (ground and first floors) is nearing completion, with an official launch on 23rd May 2025. Phase II will add six more floors, requiring KES 300 million, to be raised through partnerships, sponsorships, and public support. The Mt. Kilimanjaro Challenge is one of the flagship initiatives for this cause.

Following the success of ICS’s 2024 Mt. Kenya hike, this year’s climb will symbolize the determination needed to build strong institutions and sustainable governance systems—where every step toward the summit supports the next generation of ethical leaders.
